Exoplanetary Interception is an ongoing series of intercepted data artworks by Drone Sector. This series is inspired by the rapidly growing world of data and technological advancements, and envisions a future where humanity has become even more technologically advanced and begins to intercept extraterrestrial signals from beyond our night sky. Each piece in this series is a unique audiovisual work that is generated in real-time and guided by sound. The viewer is invited to explore a world of data, where abstract shapes and patterns emerge and interact in response to sound. The piece “Emergency Encryption” explores the fragile world of sensitive data and data encryption.

This series raises important questions about the future of technology and humanity's relationship with the universe. As we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible, will we eventually be able to intercept and interpret signals from other worlds? What will this mean for our understanding of the universe and our place within it? Through "Exoplanetary Interception," Drone Sector invites us to explore these questions and to consider the possibilities of a future where we are able to intercept and understand the signals of extraterrestrial life.
